Current Grand Valley Men's Lacrosse assistant coach Russ King had this to say about Aaron, "He was just one of those guys that you would meet and shake his hand and look him in the eye and you could tell he actually cared to meet you. I played against Biggie and at one time and was also a teammate of his. My first memorie of Biggie was at an indoor lacrosse tournament, Biggie and I just kept going at each other, he was an amazing competitor and that caused us to have a lot of respect for each other." Current Grand Valley Men's Lacrosse head coach Murle Greer played alongside Aaron on the inaugural Grand Valley Lacrosse team. Aaron is largely known to the current team for his participation in this years inaugural Grand Valley Alumni game. In the 2010 lacrosse season the GVSU Men's Lacrosse players will be wearing an A.H. sticker on their helmets in memory of Aaron Haynes. |
